Updated Optix Free Trial expiration functionality, allowing admins to lock creation of new entities but still view existing data after a free trial has ended. These changes encourage users to purchase paid subscriptions, yet still allow trial users an opportunity to see previously-made storyboards and data connections even after a trial has already expired.

The image above is an example of our new “trial ended” popup. This popup  will appear when a user signs into his or her account after the trial period has expired. Upon clicking the “Upgrade Now” button, users will be taken to the workflow below.

Additional Optix Subscription Improvements

  • Trial accounts now “pause” data refreshes, limiting data to the first 30 days.
  • Expired Trial no longer blocks entry into Optix, but still prevents new Storyboard edits once the Trial has expired.
  • Superadmin accounts are no longer blocked from visiting expired accounts
  • Easier navigation to the Subscription plan page, simply by clicking the unlock icon on a locked account.

Report Editors on the Nucleus Platform are now able to stack or flatten measures vertically in Grouped Tables, in order to reduce excessive scrolling for large groupings. This change provides users with additional options to display measures within rows of a table, rather than only within columns.

Note: There were also corrections made to per group sub-totals

More options available for Nucleus overall measure totals, allowing users the ability to choose how metrics are displayed and totaled in Overall columns. This change allows users more options when deciding mixed percentages and numeric values in their dataset visuals.

Ordering issues were corrected within some of our Redshift datasets, eliminating potential duplicates in exported datasets.

  • Add mechanism to allow selection of a sort field other than the first field in the dataset.
  • Use the new default order by for file exports to avoid issues with Redshift result paging.

Improvements were made to Nucleus file export features, allowing users to now export up to a maximum of 500,000 rows at a time.

Note: The maximum number of rows can be adjusted in particular cases, but for now we have moved the maximum from originally 100,000 rows to now 500,000 rows.

  • Sent History now shows attached CSV/Excel files
  • Users are now able to export multiples files to one file with multiple sheets, or multiple files into multiple different files.
  • Users are now able to export a flattened group table
  • Live links now support both raw and grouped tables
