New Features
This sprint the team focused on improving filter usability, resolving Optix integration issues, and performing important backend upgrades to keep the platform stable and up to date. We also addressed several maintenance items and quality improvements across the platform.
One of the primary features released this sprint is a new Date Range Filter type. Previously, date ranges were primarily configured within visuals, but users requested a more streamlined way to control them directly through filters. Administrators can now create a dropdown filter that lists predefined date ranges, allowing users to easily select the range they want without manually adjusting dates.
This new filter type also allows admins to choose which date ranges appear in the dropdown, providing more control over how time-based data is explored. Along with this functionality, we introduced a dedicated icon for the date range filter and ensured that its styling automatically inherits theme settings so it remains consistent across all theme types. The new filter has also been tested alongside other filter types to ensure smooth interaction when multiple filters are applied together.
We also addressed issues with Optix social integrations, which had become outdated due to API changes. Both the Google Ads and Microsoft Ads integrations were updated to use the latest APIs. These connections should now function reliably again. In addition, we improved the user experience by hiding unsupported metric combinations for Google Ads directly in the UI, preventing configuration errors before they occur.
These updates help improve usability, stability, and overall platform reliability. 🚀
