Sharing, Collaboration, and Data Filtering

A central component of the platform is the ability to collaborate with others and to share content downward through the level hierarchy.

All content is owned by the levels of the hierarchy and not the users themselves. So any Storyboards created by a user within an Organization or Group is shared to all other members of that same Organization or Group. The user’s role within the level is what determines what they are able to do with what they have access to.

Data Sources, Storyboards, and the Library contents, all have an aspect of sharing that allows higher levels to grant access to levels below them (ie. the Application sharing to Organization, an Organization sharing to Groups). Lower levels do not see anything from above unless it is explicitly granted to them.

An important feature of Nucleus is its ability to share data downward through the hierarchy levels. Nucleus has many ways to filter the data such that each level only sees what is pertinent to them.
