A new chart type was added this release called ‘Multi-Headline,’ which allows users to display multiple measures in one headline.
- New chart type supports all standard Nucleus themes.
- Added new visual editor selection icon and related charts icon.
- Added a new toggle button to choose between horizontal or vertical layout
As a report editor, I would like have more customization options for embedded storyboard views, allowing different users unique views of the embedded storyboard.
- Support hidden storyboard tabs in embedded view.
- Remove the ‘back button’ link in embed for unique cases.
- Add new feature to lock users to only one storyboard in embed view.
- New Java Embed Client library to support embedding in applications like the Finance Portal.
Users can now see the last time a data source was updated when editing or viewing a Storyboard.
- Add new management API endpoint to record the time of the last data refresh for external report data.
- Add hover-over details for storyboards with multiple datasets.
Single/dual Y charts now support custom measure override, so that a single visual can track multiple trends comparing different dates within the same chart.
- Added new toggle to show date fields in axis even when no values are present.
- Ignore override field if it is the same as original group-by field.
As a report editor, I would like the List visual type to support multiple measures, so that I can render a list and chart in the same visual.
- Added support for displaying the first measure in the Chart of the List visual.
- Added all measures to the hover-over details of the Chart.
- Added support for custom measure formatting in the list.
