Embedding a Storyboard on a webpage allows you to share live, interactive Storyboards with your website visitors.
How to Embed a Storyboard on a Webpage
- Navigate to the Storyboards page
- Hover over the Storyboard whose embed code you want to access. Click on the Share Storyboard icon under the “…” drop-down menu.
- Click the Embed tab at the top of the Share Storyboard window
- In the Size section, select Responsive or Fixed formatting for your embedded Storyboard(s)
- Click the green Copy Code button to copy the embed code to your clipboard
- Paste this code to the HTML view of your desired website, blog, wiki, etc.
What Storyboard settings are retained for an embedded Storyboard?
When a Storyboard is embedded on a webpage, the following Storyboard settings are retained:
- Tooltips, switching between Date Ranges, and looping Storyboards with Looped Storyboards will all work identically to the functionality of the Shareable Link.
- If the Storyboard is password protected, the password screen will appear before the embedded Storyboard is accessible.
- IP-protected Storyboards will work only for the specified IP addresses.
- Storyboards with branding removed will not have Optix branding on the embedded Storyboard(s).
