New Features
This sprint the team collected initial user feedback regarding the ISEEK Intelligent Agent Answers feature and made many quality-of-life improvements, as well as added a lot of requested features!
Lets first breakdown the new features that were promoted out of Labs Mode and made available to the public. If you are filtering a visual in your Storyboard, you may now notice a new tab available. Cascade filters allow users to filtered results when creating multiple independent filters for a visual. For example, if you are working with a large number of teachers and schools, you may find it difficult scanning your long list of names in the filter window. In this case, you could first filter on a certain year, turn on cascade filters, and then add a second filter for teachers/schools and you will notice that only the teachers/schools in that year will now appear. This feature can be toggled on/off whenever you would like filtered values to influence each other during searches.

Next, you may notice a new visual type on the left side of the screen when adding new visuals to your Storyboard. This visual was created to allow more freedom to users when adding headlines. Multi headlines have a few fun settings as well, within the puzzle piece, such as having the two measures appear vertically or horizontally. Give it a try!

One last feature that was promoted to the public this sprint was pdf export. When viewing a Storyboard, you will notice a new icon on the top right side of the screen. Here is an example of the icon:

Note: pdf export performance is slow and has a few styling issues report, we plan to improve these in future sprints. Any feedback is welcome!
There are quite a few major improvements made to the ISEEK Intelligent Agent Answers model this sprint. To start, we have a new slide-out user interface that allows users to see the visual now while interacting with the agent answers model.
In the video below, you can see a quick glimpse into a few of these new styling improvements, as well as the new feedback system and updated designs.
