April 10, 2025 Release

What’s New
- New Features
- Added a new custom measure type called “table expressions” that reference column values. This is available when adding a new custom measure within a grouped table within a Storyboard. Will detail how to perform this action later in the document. Can be used to calculated and display a formatted value.
- First version of Intelligent Agent Answers has been released to a few demo users. This feature is not yet available to the public, but we can demo the current progress below and look forward to some feedback! This tool is an AI popup dialogue that can be utilized for any raw/grouped tables within a Storyboard (as long as the data size is not too large!)
- Research and Maintenance
- Platform – Resolved Date/Datetime Checkbox Styling Errors
- Platform – Investigated and Fixed Visual Popup Link Styling Errors
New Features
This sprint the team developed two new features, table expressions for custom measures and Intelligent Agent Answers. These features expand the analytical capabilities within Storyboards and are detailed below.
A new custom measure type, referred to as Table Expressions, has been added. This feature enables users to create measures that reference existing column values within grouped tables inside a Storyboard. It supports row-level calculations and formatted value outputs.
To begin, after adding the necessary measures and group-by column, add a new custom measure and select the new custom measure type “table expression”

The way reference expressions work currently, you need to select each column you would like to reference and then apply the necessary formatting and expressions (+, -, min, max, etc.)

After saving this new custom measure, be sure to select it and add it to the table after creating it!
Note: we also allow for custom positioning of this new metric, like other metrics in the editor.
The first version of Intelligent Agent Answers has also been released to a limited number of demo users. This feature provides an AI-powered popup dialogue that can generate insights or respond to user prompts based on table data within a Storyboard.
We will share more in regards to this feature in the near future!
In the meantime… here is a little sneak peek
Both of these main features (custom sort order / intelligent agent answers) are still being further developed and are currently only supported via request only. If you would like to learn more about how these new features please reach out to: support-nucleus@vantage.com
