New Features
We are excited to announce the latest updates to our platform, which brings several major new features and improvements.
One of the significant enhancements is the initial styling and development of a ‘Full Screen’ view of the Data Explorer. This feature is designed to provide a seamless experience for report editors, closely resembling the original Supercruncher 1 dataview. We aim to have this new full screen view finished and released to the public in the next sprint.
Also within the data explorer, we have introduced sparkline filtering as a new numeric filter type. This enhancement allows for a better display of data distribution when using numeric range filters. A new library has been incorporated to render numeric data as sparkline charts, enhancing the visualization of data. Additionally, a new filter has been added to generate chart data based on numeric ranges. In the next sprint, we will be implementing styles to further enhance this sparkline filtering feature.

Optix has received notable improvements as well. List chart visuals in Storyboards now have the option to display source favicons of website domains. This addition adds a professional touch to your Storyboards, allowing you to use the favicon of the respective website instead of default list “circles.” To ensure accuracy, missing domain extensions are now automatically added to the end of URLs.

Furthermore, Optix now offers improved error handling and notifications for social media integrations. Admin users will receive email notifications whenever a data source connection fails to process. Users will see that we have also added a new email template, specifically for highlighting failed connections and emailing the creator of the data source. Additionally, a daily health check is performed to identify and inform users of any data failures for up to 30 days, enabling prompt issue resolution.
We continue to prioritize innovation and user feedback to deliver a robust and user-friendly platform. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and features in future releases.
