When a user is signed in, they are always using the platform from a single User Context, even if they are a member of multiple applications, organizations, or groups. The User Context points to a specific application, organization, group, and a specific role.
- If they sign in from an Application specific domain, their context cannot be changed to outside that domain.
- There is a special platform-wide domain that allows switching between application contexts.
- Administrators at higher levels can “switch” to any context below them.
