How To Refresh My Data In A Visual

It makes sense that you want the most up-to-date visuals in your storyboard. Nucleus handles updating your visuals very well!

The automatic setting is for your visuals to be automatically updated. To turn this function on or off:

  1. Click on the visual you want to adjust.
  2. In the visuals toolbar to the right, tab over to the fourth option that looks like a gear.
  3. You will see a switch with the title “Auto-refresh.” If turned on, your data is automatically updating itself! If it is not on, a button will appear bellow “Auto-refresh.” This button will say “Apply.” Whenever you want the visual to be updated, click the button.
    1. Also be sure to visit the Data Manager – you can refresh data here as well!

That’s it! Regardless of whether you’re choosing to turn on/off auto-refresh or manually refreshing your data, make sure to hit “Save Changes” to ensure this change is saved on your storyboard.
